Our Approach
Every program we run is a partnerships with another group or organization. Programs are led by trusted community leaders and mentors like you! You bring the vision and the people – we bring the resources to make it real.
We know you need support – gear, food, planning, insurance, expertise – we show up with that.
Our experienced coach is there to help you achieve your goals, whether you need a little support, or a lot! We design together.
You set the tone, culture, and agenda. Our goal is to be a valuable addition to your work – it’s your trip, and you lead.
The Options
“Outside” means something different for everyone. Our goal is just getting you to new experiences beyond your four walls. We don’t judge – pick a program that’s right for you.
Travel Based
Hit the road, see the sights! We'll drive, fly, or train somewhere neat.
Residential
Camps, dorms, lodges - we'll help you run a high-amenity program.
Expeditions
Canoe, backpack, explore! Human-powered travel experiences outside.
The Process
We will work with you through four major stages, and adjust the level of support to your needs.

Set your goal.
What outcome are you hoping for? Education, leadership, community, joy. You tell us how you want to use the experience.
2 | Partner
Integrate your mission.
We help you shape the program around your mission, group culture, and unique needs.
3 | Prepare
Support your leadership.
Your curriculum, your voice, your leaders, your way - we figure out how we can best work as a team on program.
4 | Launch
Get support.
Coaching, vehicles, drivers, gear, food, insurance. Show up with your group and we will take care of the rest.

We have supported over 50 different entities in building their own programs outside.
What we aren’t.
- We’re not a camp.You can’t sign up individually. There are no sessions. We don’t charge enrollment fees – costs are aggregate for a group.
- We’re not a curriculum.Every program reflects your mission and work. We can bring relevant material, but we’ll never impose it.
- We’re not an agenda.The only “right” way to get outside is safely. The rest is up to you.
- We’re not a transportation vendor.Transportation is part of a broader suite of services. We typically don’t offer it in isolation.
- We’re not a guide service.We don’t package or advertise specific routes or sites on public lands. You tell us where to go (we can recommend based on your goals).
